More about Dr. Venuto
I was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My father always talked about moving to California but didn’t want to leave my grandmother, so I decided to give it a try.
I decided to become a doctor at a very young age, let’s say roughly 7 years old. I come from a family of doctors who inspired me; my father, my uncle, and my godfather. I was and continue to be very sports-minded which attracted me to orthopedic surgery and I’ve never looked back. Orthopaedics is a specialty that is forever changing which continues my interest to this day.
I believe the most important factor in the doctor-patient relationship is communication. I feel it is very important for a patient to understand their diagnosis and to understand my recommendations as far as treatment and my reasoning for that treatment. Once we have that established I know that we will get the best possible result.
I enjoy taking care of people because when you make someone better from whatever their malady, you feel better. And there is no doubt in my mind that it’s what keeps me motivated.
My hobbies and activities revolve around sports, I am an avid golfer and I am involved in spectator sports of all kinds. I also enjoy spending my free time with my wonderful wife Wendy.
